John Healy

John Healy serves as the Vice President of Operations for Walker Engineering, providing operational oversight to ensure project schedules and deliverables are met. His responsibilities include managing materials, tools, equipment, information, and manpower, as well as overseeing the End-User Service Organizations, strategic corporate purchasing efforts, and the pre-fabrication shop. In addition, John functionally serves as the DFW Electrical Division Manager, with all PMs and Superintendents in that division reporting directly to him.

With over three decades of experience in the electrical industry, John started his career as an apprentice electrician in 1992, following his service in the Navy. Over the years, he worked his way up the ranks, serving as a journeyman, foreman, and superintendent, before moving on to roles such as an estimator, assistant project manager, project manager, service department manager, and operations manager. In recognition of his dedication and commitment to the successful operation of the DFW market, John was promoted to the position of Vice President in 2014.

John is a strong believer in thinking outside the box and motivating his team to do the same. He is skilled at identifying the right people for the job and promoting talent into positions of personal growth and leadership. Furthermore, he is committed to delegating authority to trustworthy individuals and measuring their results. As a United States veteran, John understands the importance of commitment, dedication, teamwork, and maintaining a positive attitude.

Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, golfing and relaxing with his wife and family.
