The UH Football Operations Center project team recently earned recognition for their focus and hard work. As the project nears completion, their consistent performance continues to drive progress. Their commitment has helped push this major facility closer to the finish line.
Currently, the team is leading key QA/QC tasks. For example, they’re testing electrical panels and transformers. They’re also completing torque checks and verifying connections. In addition, they are working closely with the Owner, General Contractor, and commissioning agent. Together, they’re resolving final items and preparing the project for turnover.
Located beside TDECU Stadium, the UH Football Operations Center, also known as the Memorial Hermann Football Operations Center covers 105,000 square feet. This new home for UH football marks a major step forward for the program. Most importantly, it’s scheduled to open in late summer 2025, just in time for the upcoming season.
The facility offers much more than a new space. It includes strength and conditioning rooms, hydrotherapy areas, and sports medicine suites. Moreover, players will benefit from new locker rooms, nutrition spaces, and academic support rooms. Coaches will also gain dedicated office areas to support year-round planning.
Beyond team needs, the project improves the fan experience. It adds 14 premium suites and a 450-seat club section. Fans will also enjoy an 11,000-square-foot lounge and a rooftop terrace with 350 seats facing the football field.
We’re proud to celebrate the crew behind this milestone. Their hard work, technical skill, and commitment have been crucial in bringing this world-class football facility to life—and in ensuring it’s ready to open its doors for the 2025 season.
