Walker Engineering, Inc. DFW, has moved to new offices at 1505 W Walnut Hill Lane, Irving, TX 75038. The new facility has allowed us to combine the corporate office and the warehouse and pre-production facilities. This proximity will facilitate coordination of local projects.
Most open areas of the offices have exposed ceilings, displaying the fine professional electrical work Walker is known for. The interior is shades of gray and black, Walker blue, and an eye-catching chartreuse and bright yellow-green. There is a sculpture made of conduit that hangs from the ceiling in the training room with high windows in one wall that allow the sculpture to be seen from outside the room. There is a large yellow-green oval bar situated at a rakish angle off of the long charcoal center island in the kitchen/break room. The bathroom sinks are thick faceted glass with small strips of rope lighting beneath them so that they glow; the men's a cobalt blue and the women's lavender.
The new facility makes Walker not only a great place to work, but a fun one also.
