LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER
In 1981, Walker Engineering, Inc was formed in Dallas, Texas. The company started with only three employees, and during the last 30 years we have transformed into one of the largest and most qualified electrical construction companies in Texas with offices in Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
The large growth has been made possible because of our dedicated employees, loyal repeat customers and the tremendous Texas business climate. From the beginning, we have attracted very talented people who are dedicated to the construction business and our company philosophy. At Walker, we put our employees first! We take care of our people and provide them the resources to ensure our customers' needs are met.
Our revenues have surpassed $2.7 billion from projects ranging from service calls to hospitals and data centers. We were recently awarded the first LEED "Platinum" and "Gold" certificates in the United States for our work with a major corporate data center and a hospital. I am humbled by our success during the past decades. The future of our company depends upon the continuation of the principles we established many years ago.
